Digome is excited to launch the new and improved K9 Contenders Site.  Stewart Clay the founder of K9 contenders started training sporting dogs when he was in high school and  his love for dogs and knowledge of the sport has grown of the years.   Clay realized that there was a need for a website where trainers, breeders, and dog enthusiast would all come together.  His goal is to provide a place for the amateur trainer / dog owner to learn from the best.  

Clay has a vision to turn his life long love of dogs and his gift to manage and train them into a clearinghouse of information that enhances the experience of every interested party in finding, training and owning a dog. To fulfill this vision Clay founded K9Contenders. K9C believes that there is a market opportunity to more narrowly focus the market around dogs, their breeders, their trainers, their owners and their competitions and provide the highest quality forum.  Dealing with the availability of dogs for sale, new litters, their parents, their pedigrees, and their competitive records. The vision is to provide an active participation format for trainers and breeders that is current and that promotes their kennels, their styles of training, and their availability of new litters of puppies that are or will be for sale. It will be the place for them to promote their products, and will put them in an interactive format with dog owners and potential clients.

 For the owners or potential owners of these animals K9C seeks to be the “go to” source to interact with the best in the business, learn what is happening in the growing area of competitions, get training tips or veterinarian tips, or just to find a puppy with the characteristics that appeal to them.

K9C wants to provide a “coming together” place for dog professionals and their clients or potential clients that adds value to the industry, promotes the products, and makes a more enjoyable and satisfying experience for the consumer. K9C wants to advance to the “state of the art” in this industry and become an indispensable component of information for serious dog professionals and dog owners.

The latest addition to the K9 Contenders website is the VIP Memberships.   You can be a K9 VIP at three different levels: Junior Hunter, Master Hunter, and Field Champion.   With these memberships the K9C staff will setup pages on the site, promote through social media, shoot professional photography and video and help you with merchandise and web-development needs.  Clay explains it’s a no brainer for the professional in the dog industry “The dog business requires a tremendous amount of time and attention in the field, leaving professionals little time to market and promote their brand. Our new VIP program allows trainers to stay focused and committed to their tasks while we make sure those interested in their products and services have access to all the current information they desire.”

Waste Services of the Bluegrass, Inc. and Legacy Carting, LLC (Legacy) today announced that they have entered into an agreement to combine the two companies.  This transaction between the two Kentucky-based entities will create a leading full services waste company throughout the Bluegrass. The combined companies will deliver enhanced customer experience through a wider selection of waste services, all at very competitive prices.

The companies already have two big things in common. Both Waste Services of the Bluegrass and Legacy are known for their high level of customer service and their keen attention to environmental considerations. Plus, both are based in Central Kentucky, providing both operations jobs and administrative jobs in the Bluegrass. The combined company will be a stronger competitor in the Central Kentucky marketplace, using their combined services offerings to drive future growth.

Presently, Waste Services of the Bluegrass operates the Central Kentucky Landfill located in Georgetown, Kentucky, along with Thoroughbred Disposal, a CD&D landfill in Lexington, Kentucky, as well as Central Kentucky Hauling.  Legacy Carting’s comprehensive residential hauling services and expertise will give the combined companies exactly what consumers and businesses need – affordable, full service waste disposal. The combined company will offer one-stop solution for smart waste disposal.
